General Store-

We are offering weekly and biweekly deliveries of our CSA shares through two sessions Spring/Summer and Autumn seasons in 2015.   Prices and dates are at the bottom of the page for the current season. 

Certified Organic Produce

The weekly share will be a full share box delivered every week during the growing season.  The biweekly share will be a full share box delivered every other week during the growing season. Biweekly shares will be every other week from the starting date which may be the first or second week of the CSA.  

Each CSA share will contain approximately a half bushel of mixed produce.  On occasion we may add produce varieties that we do not grow at Lazy Dog Farms from another local farm and in that case we will let you know what farm it was grown by. 

Certified Organic Poultry and Eggs

We are offering the option for our CSA members to add shares of our Certified Organic Pastured Poultry.  We will offer a limited number of shares for our Certified Organic Eggs with our CSA Members having the first right to reserve any excess eggs.

Pantry

New this year we are partnering with a local farm in our community to offer options for Fresh Wood Stove Baked Bread, Raw Butter and Raw Milk.  These products are produced in a non-certified domestic kitchen.  The dairy products including Butter and Raw milk are intended for Animal Feed Supplements and not for Human Consumption.

The dairy comes from grass fed Jersey cows.  When necessary these cows are supplemented with Non-GMO feed. 

Delivery Wagon

We are excited to offer personalized delivery to your location by your farmer for a small fee.

CSA home deliveries will be on Thursdays or CSA pick up available at the Memphis Farmers Market on Saturday Morning in the Memphis Area.

Local deliveries of the CSA will be on Tuesday afternoons.  CSA shares will be available for pickup on Friday afternoon at the farm. 

If your share includes perishable items that need refrigeration and/or freezing such as Milk, Butter, Poultry, Meat and Eggs then arrangements (such as a cooler with ice) must be provided if someone is not available during the delivery.  Please do not hesitate to contact us with any questions.

Our Current delivery area within Shelby County is noted in the map.  If you are outside of our delivery area please give us a call so we can discuss the options.  If you are on our route into Shelby County we can also offer deliver to you.

Share a Share

Finally, we are excited to start our Share a Share program.  Through this program donations are collected to provide our CSA shares to families who can not afford to participate.  We will offer as many shares as monies are collected for.  We will at minimum have one share in Shelby county and one share locally around the farm.  Our Share a Share members will be required to pay a modest fee of $5 per week for their share.

Members may contribute to this by adding it as a separate membership during the signup process.  Donations are also accepted from the public through the donation button on each page of our website.
